Odaily Planet Daily News: In a legal dispute with PleasrDAO, "Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli was asked to hand over all electronic copies of Wu-Tang Clan albums. PleasrDAO has owned the physical album since 2021, when it purchased the record from the Department of Justice for $4.75 million, which seized the album from Shkreli after he was convicted of securities fraud in 2018. DAO sold part of the ownership through NFT, but said Shkreli retained a digital copy of the album and sued in June. On August 26, a New York federal judge ordered Shkreli to "hand over any copies of the album in any form he has" to his lawyer and sign a declaration stating that he no longer owns any copies by August 30. Shkreli must also submit a list of copies of the album by September 30, including information about people with whom the album was shared and any financial benefits he received from distributing or playing the album. (Cointelegraph) Earlier in June, PleasrDAO sued Martin Shkreli for ownership of Wu-Tang Clan albums worth $4.75 million.
