PANews reported on August 27 that according to the official blog, LidoDAO has introduced an "on-chain delegation and representative incentive program" through Vote178 and Snapshot voting. The program intends to establish a public representative platform to simplify the governance process and increase participation and decision-making transparency. The six-month pilot representative incentive program will provide a total of $150,000 in LDO tokens to incentivize active representatives who meet the standards. Token holders retain full control over the vote and can override the decisions of representatives. The program will be launched on September 19, Beijing time, and will last until March 18, 2025. Eligible representatives must have more than 2 million LDO delegations on Aragon and Snapshot, and can receive up to $15,000 in LDO rewards every three months. To ensure the smooth operation of the system, a representative supervision committee will be established to evaluate representative performance and distribute incentives.
