NatWest Markets: The US dollar will be weak as the Fed is about to cut interest rates

According to a report by NatWest Markets analysts, confidence in the prospect of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates has increased, and expectations of a soft landing for the US economy are facing increasing resistance to the US dollar's rise. They stated that unless US data surprises and expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts are delayed, this situation appears to be more persistent. NatWest Markets expects the Federal Reserve to cut rates by 150 basis points this year, nearly 50 basis points higher than priced in the money market. The analysts at the institution stated: "It is still a story about 'how much' to cut rates next month, not 'whether' to cut rates."
