🚨🚨🚨Elon Musk Reacts to the Arrest of Telegram Founder Pavel Durov🚨🚨🚨
Elon Musk, the owner of the social network X, has weighed in on the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov in France. Musk tweeted, "Here's an advertisement for the First Amendment (to the US Constitution). She is very convincing," highlighting the importance of freedom of speech in light of Durov's arrest.
Musk also jokingly suggested that by 2030 in Europe, people might be executed for liking memes.
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, part of the Bill of Rights, ensures that Congress will not infringe on freedom of speech and the press.
Reports from French media on Saturday evening indicated that Durov was detained at Le Bourget airport while disembarking from a private plane that had allegedly arrived from Azerbaijan. Durov, who holds French citizenship, was reportedly on a wanted list in France. Authorities claim that Durov is connected to several crimes, including Telegram’s refusal to cooperate with the French government.
On Sunday, Durov may face serious charges, including terrorism, drug trafficking, fraud, and money laundering.
