PANews, August 21, CoinDesk reported that despite the 12% drop in Bitcoin prices in the second quarter, institutional investors still significantly increased their allocation to Bitcoin ETFs. Bitwise’s report shows that the number of institutional investors holding Bitcoin ETFs increased by 14% in the second quarter, from 965 to 1,100, and the proportion of Bitcoin ETF assets under management increased from 18.74% to 21.15%, with a total value of $11 billion. Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, pointed out that institutions are still actively buying Bitcoin despite market fluctuations, which indicates greater potential in the bull market. The report also highlights that institutional adoption of Bitcoin ETFs is the fastest in history.
