PANews reported on August 16 that according to the Bangkok Post, the Pathum Thani police in Thailand are hunting for four Chinese suspects who are suspected of breaking into a local luxury house and forcing the victim to transfer $2 million (about 70 million baht) in digital currency. The incident occurred at 2 a.m. on Wednesday in Banmai Village, Muang District, Pathum Thani Province. The victim was a 35-year-old Chinese businessman, Ke Jibao, who was tied up with his wife and a maid. After confirming the transfer, the suspect stole the surveillance server and the victim's black Toyota Alphard car. Ke Jibao's right wrist was cut by a knife, and a male servant, Chen Mingfa, was injured on the forehead. The police are retrieving surrounding surveillance videos to track the suspects.
