Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance has reappeared on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in India after being banned for seven months for failing to comply with local laws.
On August 15, #Binance made its website and app available to Indian crypto investors again. This comes after Binance registered as a reporting organization with the Financial Intelligence Unit of India (FIU-IND) and met the legal requirements for all #cryptocurrency exchanges operating in India to combat money laundering.
Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, emphasized the importance of complying with Indian laws, noting that India is an important market with high trading volumes.
Listing was Binance's 19th global regulatory milestone, reaffirming its commitment to adhering to strict regulations and creating a safe environment for the Indian cryptocurrency market.
