Happycoin.club - Cryptocurrency-focused online bank Revolut has partnered with major hardware wallet maker Ledger to scale crypto payments in some countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). Now, European users of the Ledger hardware wallet will be able to buy and sell digital assets through Revolut's Ramp service.

As part of the collaboration, Revolut will join crypto wallet app Ledger Live as an official crypto service provider in 27 EEA countries, including Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Latvia, Malta and Switzerland.

The new integration will allow Revolut customers to skip the verification process and start trading cryptocurrency straight away. They will also be able to use Revolut Pay to make instant online payments.

“We are excited to work with Ledger, a leader in self-storage, as we further enhance Revolut as a convenient financial app for crypto investors,” Revolut CEO Emil Urmanshin said in a statement.

Launched in 2015, online bank Revolut is the largest fintech company in the UK, currently serving over 40 million customers worldwide. In 2017, Revolut began offering cryptocurrency services through its online banking platform.
