According to TechFlow, Renzo Protocol announced the launch of $ezSOL last night, which is the first LRT (liquidity heavy-collateralization token) based on the Jito network on Solana.
$ezSOL combines Renzo's liquidity re-staking technology and Jito's MEV-enhanced validator. Users can use jitoSOL as the underlying staking asset to mint $ezSOL. By integrating with Jito's MEV-enhanced validator network, $ezSOL provides compound rewards for staking, re-staking, and MEV withdrawal.
Renzo applies its experience on Ethereum protocols such as EigenLayer and Symbiotic to Solana. Taking advantage of Solana's low fees and fast settlement, $ezSOL is able to quickly rebalance Node Consensus Network (NCN) positions and optimize risk-adjusted returns.
