According to Foresight News, Jesse Pollak, head of the Base protocol, said in a post that the Base core team did not set up a BD (business development) position. From day one, the protocol renamed this role to "ecosystem." Base is not expanding business, but developing the Base economy. Pollak added that the best ecosystem personnel are essentially builders and will help other industry participants do the same.
