According to ChainCatcher, Cozy Finance's latest research shows that among DeFi projects that have been attacked by hackers, less than 50% survive.
Cozy looked at 64 projects that had at least $1 million in user deposits at the time of the hack and found that 39% (or 25 projects) managed to survive.
The report points out that many DeFi founders are pessimistic about hacker attacks, and despite efforts to take the best security measures to prevent attacks, they often believe that once hacked, the project may end. However, research shows that the possibility of project survival is greater than expected.
