SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son will visit U.S. President-elect Trump on Monday and announce a $100 billion investment in the United States over the next four years, PANews reported.
Son will also pledge to create 100,000 jobs focused on artificial intelligence and related infrastructure, with funds to be deployed before the end of Trump's term, the sources said.
The money could reportedly come from a variety of sources controlled by SoftBank, including the Vision Fund, capital projects or chipmaker Arm Holdings.
