According to PANews, several crypto organizations, including the Cedar Innovation Foundation, have published advertisements and letters opposing the nomination of U.S. Democratic SEC Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw.

Its digital advertising campaign calls Caroline Crenshaw "more extreme than Chairman Gary Gensler." In its statement, Cedar Innovation Foundation highlighted that Crenshaw opposed the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF and criticized the cryptocurrency market as a "petri dish for fraud."

The Blockchain Association and other lobbying groups have written to Senate lawmakers urging the commissioner’s rejection as the Senate Banking Committee prepares to consider Crenshaw’s renomination after her current five-year term expires, which could last until the end of 2025.
