According to Decrypt, Bitcoin broke through $100,000 on Monday morning but then fell to $96,880, down 3%.
Dogecoin and XRP had the largest declines among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, both dropping about 8%. DOGE is currently priced at $0.428, and despite the drop, it still has a weekly increase of nearly 1%.
The current price of XRP is $2.38, down over the past six days but up 333% in the last 30 days.
Solana is down 6%, currently slightly below $222. Ethereum is down 5%, currently priced at $3,786.
Avalanche, Shiba Inu, Chainlink, and Polkadot, which are outside the top ten by market capitalization, are all down about 9%.
According to CoinGlass data, the total liquidation of long and short positions in the past 24 hours reached $620 million, with approximately $86 million in Bitcoin liquidations.
