Putin approved the legalization of mining and trading of cryptocurrencies within the framework of the EPR.

On August 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing cryptocurrency mining to be legalized in the country, TASS reports.

The document, with the exception of certain provisions, will come into force on November 1.

Also today, a law was signed allowing foreign trade settlements and exchange trading in cryptocurrencies within the framework of experimental legal regimes (ELR) from September 1. The regulator of this activity will be the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
