According to ChainCatcher, on August 7, the MAKE team discovered that the transaction volume on the Casper Testnet suddenly surged, and tens of thousands of low-bid transactions calling the auction contract add_bid function were submitted, resulting in increased CPU load and storage consumption on the chain.

The Casper Association and Casper Labs intervened urgently, quickly fixed the vulnerability, and increased the cost of add_bid to 3500 CSPR through updates, while setting a minimum bid requirement of 10000 CSPR.

This incident did not affect the main network, and funds are safe.
