Here is how I got scammed $2,550 through fake crypto and how you can prevent !
These days a scam is very popular on name of investment plan. First you invest, in return they sent you fake crypto. I also scammed by such people in my early journey of crypto. Here is how I got scammed and how you can prevent your self from it.
Story is that in early journey of my crypto life we faced too much losses. To recover them we joined a telegram group by searching and unfortunately we joined fake group. They demand 50 usdt from us to add in Premium group . We paid it. They were providing future trading signal but we want only spot. on our demand they said they will provide spot as soon as market stable . Then they introduced investment plan. According to this plan we need to send 500 usdt to him and in return we will receive 1250 usdt after week. They said they will apply it on bots and they generate income through these bots. My bad luck I invested 2,500 USDT in first stage and we will receive 7,500 usdt after 7 days.
They created my account on their fake website and send me login. They demand my coinbase address , and I sent them. They transfer specific Return 700 usdt on first day that were fake. I said them that I withdraw it to my Binance account but it is not appearing . They said it is not their issue contact with customer service . I contacted with customer service and they it is fake token. It is new for me how fake tokens can be created. As I said earlier it is my early stage story so I don't know such things. I watched on YT and checked that these tokens have no value. When I said it to scammer they said they have contract with Coinbase it will deposit to my account after 7 days. I said ok will wait . After 7 days when I asked for real money they said I have to pay tax. I said I have no more money , deduct from it twice of tax send my remaining money. But I don't know he is scammer. when I contacted with Binance CS they said you have got scammed . After that scammer blocked me. And I lost 2,550 usdt in this scam.
