According to TechFlow, mempool data showed that a half-empty block appeared in the Bitcoin network at block height 855363 (22:42 Beijing time), and the time interval between this block and the previous block was only 75 seconds.

@mononautical, the founder of mempool, analyzed this phenomenon on social media. He pointed out that all the transactions in this half-empty block were broadcast about a minute before it was mined. @mononautical speculated that this block might have been mined by a brand new node, which might have accidentally been put into production without fully synchronizing the memory pool.
