Meta Battler has officially debuted!

What is Meta Battler?

Meta Battler is a roguelike card game that ties together the worlds of collectibles and gaming in bold and exciting ways. Built by Ultra Rare, the long-time creator of WAX, Meta Battler is a true game changer that does something no other blockchain game has ever done before - every NFT created on WAX can be used in this game!

Each NFT Template ID will have attribute points randomly assigned to it, so no one knows how powerful an NFT will be until it's uploaded. So now's the time to dust off your Horrors, Blockchain Brawlers, and Garbage Pail Kids, send them into the game, and start fighting!

Every NFT, Every Player

Even more amazing is that from now on, every NFT created will be automatically assigned properties. This means that not only every Funko, Streetfighter or GPK can be used in their games, but every NFT you create can also be used in the Meta Battler game.

In this uniquely designed Roguelike card game, you need to win and use the in-game tokens, Meta Battler points, to strengthen your deck and defeat more difficult opponents.

Choose PVE or PVP mode, conquer the leaderboards for a chance to win awesome artwork and rare collectible prizes. Ultimately, you'll have the chance to become the ultimate Meta Battler champion!

Unleashing the Potential of NFTs

While Meta Battler is primarily free to play, we’re launching a brand new superhero series that will be the ultimate way to play the game. Meta Battler Series 1 features illustrations inspired by nineties comic book art, drawn by Ultra Rare’s team of in-house cartoonists, including Ultra Rare’s lead cartoonist Macauley Etherington (The Horrors, Leatherfaces), JP Vilchis (FutureQuake, Dynamite Entertainment), Mark Dinsdale (Rick and Morty), and the legendary Kev Hopgood, creator of Marvel’s War Machine. All animations are done by the talented Ben Watson (Top Boy). Ultra Rare collectors will benefit more than other collectors, of course—we built the platform with that in mind—but we’ll also be offering even more bonuses to valuable collaborator collectibles.
