According to Odaily, Deddy Lavid, co-founder and CEO of Web3 security company Cyvers, has highlighted that centralized finance (CeFi) entities are responsible for approximately 70% of the losses caused by cryptocurrency hacks. Lavid noted that this figure encompasses both financial losses and the number of vulnerabilities identified. He emphasized that while CeFi entities account for the majority of these incidents, there is a growing trend of attacks targeting projects based on smart contracts. Lavid pointed out that the most significant security vulnerabilities today stem from code issues and personal negligence.
