A train ticket shows the inflated GDP of the United States!

The high-speed rail from Orlando to Miami in the United States is 378 kilometers away, with a speed of 130 to 180 kilometers per hour, and occasionally 200 kilometers per hour on the road. It takes 3 hours and 30 minutes, and the ticket price is 89 US dollars, about 641 yuan.

The train from Nanjing to Yuyao in China is 385 kilometers away, with a speed of 200 to 250 kilometers per hour, and takes 1 hour and 54 minutes to 2 hours and 34 minutes. The ticket price is 134 yuan. The speed of China's high-speed rail is much higher than that of the United States, but the ticket price is only 21% of that of the United States.

In other words, the face value direct GDP generated by transporting one person by high-speed rail for the same distance is about 5 times that of my country.

So, don't think that the US GDP is higher than ours, and think that the US economy is really stronger than ours. No one knows how much water there is in the US GDP. But what we can know is that if China adopts the US GDP statistical method, then China's GDP may exceed that of the United States by a large margin.
