Golden Finance reported that the U.S. government has transferred some of the bitcoins from the "Silk Road DOJ confiscated funds" again after nearly four months. James Seyffart, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, speculated that this transfer may be a wallet arrangement to hold the confiscated bitcoins. Earlier, on July 2, Coinbase announced that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), the property forfeiture agency under the U.S. Department of Justice, had selected Coinbase Prime to provide custody and advanced trading services for its "Class I" (large assets) digital assets after a comprehensive process. These assets are centrally managed by USMS to support federal law enforcement.
