According to TechFlow, Google Cloud oracle is now available on LayerZero. Google Cloud oracle is a purpose-built validator that is now available to all LayerZero applications and will be configured as the default on September 19.

This means that by default, every message in LayerZero will leverage secure infrastructure run by one of the most security-conscious organizations in the world. In other words, Google Cloud verifies the validity of every message in LayerZero by default.

Google Cloud oracles are designed to act as the https for cross-chain messaging. Just as they verify all https certificates to prove the validity of a website, Google Cloud oracles now also verify all LayerZero messages by default.

As with all things at LayerZero, we believe that the best security is modular security, so it naturally works with other validators like PolyhedraZK, allowing users to build a security stack that best suits your application needs.
