Get ready for the Terra Luna Classic tax burn distribution upgrade

The new version v3.1.3 has been announced by famous Terra Classic developer Till Z. Known as Fragwuerdig in the LUNC community. The latest update was made in collaboration with a few other developers including StrathCole according to community-passed proposals 12098 and 12114.

A proposal will be submitted for community approval and community authentication to update the terrad client to version 3.1.3. The chain will stop at block height 19,108,180. Expected on July 29 at 1:00 UTC. The community is anticipating major LUNC news regarding token burning by TFL before the update.

According to GitHub, it was to fix the parameter key table, and adjust the oracle partitioning logic. And using Wasmvm v1.5.2 to prevent memory leaks is a core task done by developers.

The logic will transfer the block rewards to the Oracle Pool (OP). This slows down the rate of its exhaustion. This effectively makes the requirements change from short-term rewards to long-term rewards according to the proposals. Original Labs made a second major change regarding security and memory leak issues in Wasmvm. Which was fixed by upgrading Wasmvm version to version 1.5.2.

Validators need to update with v3.1.3 after the series is discontinued and infrastructure providers with accelerated LCDs need to install the updated mantlemint version.
