ChainCatcher reported that according to News.bitcoin, the CV VC report shows that by the end of 2023, Africa's share of global blockchain venture capital transactions (1,306) will rise from 1.2% to 1.3%.
However, the continent's share of total blockchain venture capital (US$10.66 billion) fell from 1.6% in 2022 to 1.3%. The report shows that Africa received only US$135.4 million from 17 blockchain transactions, a 45% decrease in the number of transactions and a 72% decrease in funds compared to the previous year.
