The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has granted “in-principle approval” to three asset managers to launch Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), raising expectations that these funds will begin trading next week. Final approval depends on submitting final documents to the regulator before the end of this week. These companies include BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and VanEck. Other companies such as Fidelity, ARK 21Shares, Grayscale, Bitwise, and Invesco Galaxy are also vying to launch their Ethereum products next week.
