Silicon Valley venture capital firm Menlo Ventures, one of the largest investors in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, said on Wednesday that the two companies will join forces to set up a $100 million program called "Anthology Fund" to invest in pre-seed and Series A artificial intelligence companies. According to people familiar with the matter, Menlo recently jumped to the top of Anthropic's list of supporters and completed a round of unannounced financing of more than $750 million for the basic model company.
