Ethereum layer-2 network Blast has reduced withdrawal time from 14 to 7 days, the development team reported on July 16 in X. Previously, long waits were necessary for Lido's withdrawal buffer.

🔹 The new account @blast replaced @blast_l2.

🔹 The team claims that a smaller buffer is now sufficient.

🔹 Critics have suggested that Blast could become a standalone network rather than part of Ethereum.

🔹 The price of the BLAST token fell to $0.017 after an initial rise.
