Former US President Donald Trump still plans to attend the Bitcoin conference in Nashville, Tennessee, despite being assassinated in Pennsylvania on July 13. This was revealed by David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine, one of the organizers of the conference.
Bailey posted the news on X.com on July 14, saying that he "just spoke with the president's team," referring to Trump, and that the former president was "in good spirits."
He added that Trump was "excited to see you in Nashville and give a speech for the world to hear."
The former president promised to speak at the conference earlier this week, before the assassination. The event runs from July 25 to July 27, and Trump is scheduled to speak on July 27.
