Apple's M series chips can no longer mine io. I found an early high-quality project that can make full use of Mac, and of course it can also run on Windows.

Gaianet is an AI agent network project. According to rootdata data, Gaianet completed a US$1,000 million seed round of financing in May.

The AI agent network project built by the University of California, Berkeley + tens of millions of dollars in financing + top capital is definitely worth a try.

Team Background:
CEO: Matt Wright @mateo_ventures, Web3 giant @Consensys

Advisory Board: EVM Capital @evmfund, Lex Sokolin @genventurecap, Brian Johnson

Strategic Cooperation:
The FHL Vive Center @UCBerkeley at the University of California, Berkeley will collaborate on more computer science and STEM courses, introduce GaiaNet's AI TA artificial intelligence technology to assist teaching, and promote more intelligent teaching and lifelong learning.

Currently, those who participate in node operation and Galxe tasks will be able to obtain early bird status. Gaianet also hinted at future incentive activities. This early bird status is likely to receive airdrops.

Let’s take a look at how to run a node.

Step 1: Windows users download Windows WSL
(Apple users can skip this step)
I used the Windows system to download it, so there are slightly more steps, but the general steps are the same.

First, go to the start page in the lower left corner of the win system, find the microsoft store, download powershell, and then download Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS.

Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS Click to open, you need to set a username and password, the password setting step is hidden, that is, you have already entered it, but its page will not be displayed. It doesn't matter, just enter and confirm it and press Enter.

After all settings are completed, you may need to restart the computer and then open PowerShell.

Step 2: Install the default node software stack

Copy and enter this command: (Apple users start from this step)
curl -sSfL 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GaiaNet-AI/gaianet-node/main/install.sh…' | bash

Enter key to wait for download

You can also go to the official guide and copy the instructions:

Step 2 Notes: How to enter the terminal on an Apple computer
Open Launchpad and find Other
Click Terminal

Step 3: Start the tool and initialize the node

When you see this string of content, it means the download is complete.
COMPLETED! The gaianet node has been installed successfully

Then start the tool, copy
source /home/your computer name/.bashrc
(Everyone needs to copy something different, see Figure 2 for details)
Then press Enter.

The next step is to initialize the node:
Input command:
gaianet init
Wait for the download process

Step 4: Start the node and enter the website
After the download is complete, enter the command:
gaianet start
Start the node
Copy the URL in Figure 2 and open it with a browser.

Step 5: Talk to AI

Click: Chat with this node

Talk to AI, a successful conversation means the node is running successfully.

Step 6: Save terminal information
Input command:
gaianet info
Keep this information safe and do not share it with outsiders.

Go to https://gaianet.ai
Connect to wallet in the upper right corner
Go to https://gaianet.ai/node
Click add node
Enter the terminal information just now.
keep

Step 10: Complete the Galaxy Mission and obtain DC status
Finally, complete the Galaxy mission.
Remember to use the wallet that you just bound to the node to complete the Galaxy mission in order to pass it.

Add DC information in Galaxy Settings, and finally enter the official DC
