Wu said that Bobby Ong, co-founder of Coingecko, posted that there is currently a DNS attack affecting Squarespace domain name registrar. Since Google sold its domain name business to Squarespace a few months ago, two-step verification (2FA) was removed during the forced migration process, making multiple domain names vulnerable to attacks. Several domain names have been hijacked. Users are advised to avoid cryptocurrency transactions in the next few days and wait for the problem to be resolved.
