[The digital badge NFT of the Paris Olympic mascot will be issued on Base]
To celebrate the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, officials have launched digital badge NFTs themed around Olympic mascots, which have been released on the Base platform. The announcement was made by nWay, a division of Animoca Brands, through the My Olympic™ Rewards and Onchain Summer campaigns.
These NFTs issued by nWay represent digital badges for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and are designed to capture the fun and energy of the Games in digital collectible form. The NFT comes in two designs, each with two rarities: Epic and Legendary.
Starting from July 9th, these NFTs can be applied for through the Onchain Summer event. The application period is until August 12th. You need to go to the Magic Eden platform to redeem digital badge NFTs.
OGJ and VTG backers can get all four badges, while casting via Magic Eden will get you Legendary B or Epic A. Supporters of the nWayPlay (NWP) community and Olympic Games Jam (OGJ) will exclusively receive a Legendary badge featuring the waving mascot. Users can also redeem their points for Epic B digital badges through My Olympic™ Rewards.
