🚀Optimism, the Ethereum Layer 2 network, has launched SuperFest, a decentralized finance (DeFi) festival celebrating developers and their contributions to the Optimism Collective. The festival, open until August, will reward participants with 1.5 million OP tokens! 🎉

SuperFest aims to encourage exploration of DeFi applications within the Optimism Superchain, highlighting developments on the OP Mainnet, Base, Mode, and Fraxtal blockchains. Users can claim their tokens on the Jumper exchange based on their engagement.

Participating apps include Velodrome, Aerodrome, Uniswap, Aave, Curve, Morpho, ether.fi, Lido, and the Renzo protocol, among others. Cross-chain bridges like Jumper, Across, Stargate, CelerNetwork, Bitconomy, and Symbiosis are also involved.

Optimism’s Superchain is a network of interconnected blockchains that share features such as bridging, decentralized governance, upgrades, and a communication layer, all built on the OP Stack.
