Aave DAO and MakerDAO have a disagreement over the profit-sharing agreement, and MakerDAO's lending protocol Spark (a fork of Aave v3) has been accused of violating the agreement with Aave DAO. Representative Marc Zeller revealed that in February 2023, Phoenix Labs, the company behind Spark, proposed to share 10% of the profits of the agreement within two years, and Spark was expected to pay Aave a total of US$2 million. But Spark did not fulfill its obligations under the agreement, and due to some creative accounting operations by MakerDAO, the actual revenue share was closer to 1%. (DLNews)
