According to CoinDesk, crypto-enabled cloud storage platform Storj has announced that it has acquired Valdi, a high-performance cloud computing provider, to add graphics processing unit (GPU) computing capabilities to its enterprise customers. The specific acquisition amount has not been disclosed. Storj said the acquisition aims to address the GPU shortage caused by the growth of the artificial intelligence market by allowing customers to use available GPU computing resources in data centers around the world.
