🚨A new type of cryptocurrency fraud! Bad actors are posing as Coinbase employees, scamming users out of millions of dollars. They contact the victim, introduce themselves as a Coinbase employee, and then send an email that appears to come from the Coinbase security team. 🕵️♂️
The victim was tricked into sharing his private key. The scammers claimed that the victim's wallet was "directly connected to the blockchain", resulting in unauthorized transactions.
