#Blockchain News# Antoine Martin, a board member of the Swiss National Bank, revealed at the Point Zero Forum event that the bank plans to expand its central bank digital currency pilot project. He said: "We hope to see the pilot project continue to develop, more banks join, and transaction volume increases." The Swiss National Bank pledged last month to continue promoting central bank digital currency (CBDC) for at least two years and extend the pilot project Project Helvetia III launched last year. Currently, six banks, including UBS and Commerzbank, have participated in the project, which has issued digital currency bonds worth 750 million Swiss francs (about US$830.38 million).
