๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”‘ Stablecoin liquidity could be the key to reignite Bitcoin's bull run, says CryptoQuant analyst Mac.D. Here's why:

๐Ÿ”ธ Bitcoin's been trading sideways, no new highs since March 2024. Why? Tightening monetary policy in the US.

๐Ÿ”ธ Global higher interest rates have hit liquidity, including stablecoin liquidity and supply.

๐Ÿ”ธ Stablecoins, like Tether (USDT), are crypto tokens pegged to fiat currency, often held by traders to buy BTC later.

๐Ÿ”ธ USDT's market cap shrank from $83B in April 2022 to $65B in Nov 2022, but recovered to $112B recently, rising with Bitcoin's price.

๐Ÿ”ธ However, total stablecoin liquidity has been flat in Q2 2024, just like Bitcoin's price.

๐Ÿ”ธ Mac.D suggests more "accommodative monetary policy" in the US is needed for the market's next leg-up.
