Golden Finance reported that Riot Platforms mined 255 bitcoins in June, up 19% from the previous month. Although the company mined only about half of the same period last year, this was in line with expectations after the Bitcoin halving event in April this year. Riot said in its filing that it had exceeded its second quarter hashrate target of 21.4 EH/s, reaching 22.0 EH/s by the end of the month. Riot also announced that it received $6.2 million in electricity subsidies from the Texas power grid, down slightly from the previous month, and plans to achieve a total self-mining hash rate of 31 EH/s by the end of the year.
