PANews reported on August 25 that according to The Defiant, data shared by Ryan Rasmussen, a researcher at crypto asset management company Bitwise, showed that Uniswap processed approximately $110 billion in transactions in the second quarter of this year, and its trading volume once again exceeded Coinbase, which processed approximately $90 billion in transactions in the second quarter. Previously, Uniswap's spot trading volume in the first quarter of this year was $155 billion, surpassing Coinbase's $145 billion for the first time.
Coinbase's spot trading activity declined significantly during the bear market, falling 83% from approximately $540 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021; Uniswap trading volume fell by half from $235 billion during the same period.
