Tether has signed an agreement with Turkish crypto company BTguru

The American Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has entered into an agreement with the Turkish project BTguru, which undertakes to provide clients of the American company with the opportunity to tokenize assets.

Tether hopes to gain private investors and government agencies of the Republic of Turkey as clients. The issuer of the most popular stablecoin promises to promote educational initiatives and reach agreements with local banks and large investment funds.

The partnership began within Tether Edu, the educational division of the American company. In April 2024, the USDT issuer announced that it plans to expand its activities in the global market. The list of new areas for the company includes Tether Data - a division for development and investment in digital technologies, Tether Finance - financial solutions and tokenization and Tether Power - cryptocurrency mining
