Google purchased shares in Taiwan's New Green Power company, owned by BlackRock fund.
◽️Google said it and its suppliers could buy up to 300 megawatts of renewable energy from New Green Power to help reduce carbon emissions.
"The purpose of this investment is really to support the establishment of a large-scale solar pipeline in Taiwan," said Amanda Peterson Corio, Google's Global Head of Data Center Energy.
