#News# Seven engineers from the Paraguayan National Electricity Administration (ANDE) have been accused of participating in the establishment of illegal Bitcoin mines and of illegally connecting to the grid to power Bitcoin operations. Director Felix Sosa said that the internal audit department is conducting a review and all relevant information will be submitted to the National Attorney's Office. He also clarified that the power connection work has been taken over by a third-party contractor. Since December last year, ANDE has cut off power supply to more than 70 illegal Bitcoin mines.
