## Major Altcoins Unlocking $755 Million in July
In July, over 40 projects are set to unlock a total of $755 million worth of cryptocurrency tokens. Key projects include AltLayer (ALT), Xai (XAI), Aptos (APT), Arbitrum (ARB), Optimism (OP), Sui (SUI), Immutable (IMX), and Starknet (STRK).
## AltLayer ($ALT )
AltLayer, a decentralized protocol, will unlock its largest token release on July 25, amounting to 684 million ALT tokens worth approximately $125 million. These tokens will be distributed to the team, investors, advisors, protocol development, the treasury ecosystem, and the community.
## Xai ($XAI )
Xai, a gaming-focused project, is set to unlock the second-largest amount, with around $93 million in tokens scheduled for release on July 9. Similar to AltLayer, these crypto assets will be allocated to the team, investors, and the ecosystem, with approximately $2 million designated for reserves. The current price of ALT is about $0.17, while XAI is valued at $0.435.
Aptos, which unlocked $101 million worth of tokens in May and $102 million in June, will continue its trend with an additional release of 11.31 million APT tokens worth $77 million in July. These tokens will be allocated to the foundation, the community, core participants, and investors.
## Arbitrum (ARB)Arbitrum, after unlocking $95 million in May and $105 million in June, is scheduled to unlock $75 million for its advisors and investors on July 16. The project previously launched 1.1 billion ARB tokens worth $2.32 billion on March 16. Since that major unlock, ARB prices have fallen by 63%, from $2.27 on March 8 to $0.79 currently.
## Other ProjectsIn addition to these, Optimism (OP), Sui (SUI), Immutable (IMX), and Starknet (STRK) will also unlock significant amounts in July.
