Today's crypto market is in decline with relatively low trading volume. Bitcoin is sliding towards $60K, and most altcoins are slowly declining.

Total capitalization fell to $2.37 trillion.

Bitcoin Price Slides Towards $60K

Bitcoin prices fell 1.3% in the last 24 hours, making the week's total loss around 6%.

Currently, the leading cryptocurrency is hurtling towards $60K with relatively low trading volume.

The last 24 hours saw total liquidations of $100M with BTC leading (as usual) with $37M.

Altcoins Slump

Many large-cap altcoins also recorded minor declines. For example, ETH fell 1.8% today, BNB - 1.6%, SOL - 2.5%, TON - 1.7%, and so on.

Others fell more, such as UNI, which fell 6%.

Meme coins - an interesting category in the crypto market - also recorded similar losses. Overall, they are down more than 3% in the last 24 hours, with DOGE and SHIB down 1.3%.

Overall, the worst performer today was Lido's LDO governance token, which lost 15%. Ethena's ENA fell 9.2%, followed by Starknet's STRK, which fell 6.4%.

At the other end of the spectrum, the best performer was Quant's QNT token, which surged 10% today. Arweave's AR was second best, with a 4% improvement.

However, trading volume across the board fell to around $67 billion over the course of yesterday, which is expected, considering it is the weekend. However, it will be interesting to see how this relatively tight range will end and whether the bulls will hold or the correction will deepen.
