According to The Block, Matt Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck, said that Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), is likely to be fired. If Trump is elected, Gensler may leave; if Biden is re-elected, he may be appointed Treasury Secretary. When asked if Gensler did anything right in terms of cryptocurrency regulation, Sigel answered flatly "no".
