ETHFI achieves native multichain functionality on Arbitrum through Wormhole’s innovative Native Token Transfer framework.
Wormhole’s NTT framework preserves token integrity while enhancing cross-chain liquidity for ETHFI on Arbitrum.
The NTT framework supports flexible cross-chain token transfers, ensuring long-term protocol evolution and token control.
Ethereum’s ether.fi token (ETHFI) has expanded its native functionality to the Arbitrum blockchain, facilitated by Wormhole. This integration utilizes Wormhole’s Native Token Transfer (NTT) framework, designed to enhance cross-chain liquidity while preserving token integrity. As a result, ETHFI now operates seamlessly across multiple blockchains, boosting its functionality and efficiency on the Arbitrum platform.

Wormhole’s NTT framework aims to redefine blockchain interoperability by focusing on ownership, control, and permissionless innovation. This vision combines technical expertise, ethical principles, and community alignment to simplify and expand multi-chain solutions. The rise of zero-knowledge proofs, scaling solutions, and advanced token standards has amplified the need for trusted interoperability rails. Concurrently, applications are rapidly evolving, introducing new governance systems and utilities for assets across networks.
The NTT framework offers an open, flexible, and composable approach to transferring native tokens across blockchains while preserving their intrinsic properties. It empowers teams to develop cross-chain protocols with an adaptable framework supporting long-term protocol evolution. Projects using NTT maintain control over their tokens’ behavior on each chain, including customizability, metadata, and ownership/upgradeability. This integration supports any token standard or governance system.
For existing token deployments, NTT can operate in “locking” mode, preserving the original token supply on a single chain while enabling cross-chain transfers. Alternatively, it can function in “burning” mode to deploy natively multichain tokens with supply distributed across multiple chains. NTT already powers natively multichain tokens for leading projects like Lido, ETHFI, Puffer Finance, PIKE, and Wormhole.
ETHFI current price is $3.31, with a 24-hour trading volume of $80,612,606. The token has seen a 4.89% increase in the last 24 hours, with a live market cap of $381,741,955. It has a circulating supply of 115,200,000 ETHFI coins and a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 ETHFI coins.
Meanwhile, Wormhole’s price today is $0.346242, with a 24-hour trading volume of $55,740,225. The token is up 6.34% in the last 24 hours, boasting a live market cap of $623,235,008 and a circulating supply of 1,800,000,000 W coins.
