1. What do you think of TAIKO, the Ethereum ZK L2 system also supported by Vitalik?

I had some knowledge of this project earlier, but I didn't pay much attention to it later. The main reason was that I couldn't see its features from the overall perspective, so I didn't pay much attention to it. In addition, because my time, energy and financial resources were very limited, I didn't participate in the project.

Vitalik often mentions various projects in his articles. Some people think that this is his support for these projects, but I don’t think so. I think sometimes he just evaluates a project purely from a technical perspective.

There are many such cases in his articles.

For example, the Loopring team used ZK technology to build a decentralized exchange very early on. At that time, this exchange was mentioned by Vitalik on various occasions. I think from a technical point of view, this exchange was indeed very avant-garde in the scenario at that time. It was probably the first decentralized exchange that used ZK technology at that time.

From a technical perspective, it is appropriate for Vitalik to mention it, and his purpose is also clear - to encourage the Ethereum ecosystem to vigorously promote and use ZK technology.

But I never bought coins from this exchange, mainly because the ZK technology was still very immature at the time, and that exchange had great limitations in scalability and was obviously unable to compete with Uniswap.

Whether a project can eventually grow and develop depends on many factors, and technology is only one of them. So I think we can seriously study and understand the projects mentioned by Vitalik, especially in terms of technological foresight and guidance.

But when it comes to whether or not to participate in the project he mentioned, you still have to make your own independent judgment.

2. Why does it feel like this bull market is so difficult?

I think it all depends on how you define a bull market.

If we go by my standards, there has never been a new bull market since the collapse of the last bull market, because Bitcoin and Ethereum have not both hit new historical highs (only Bitcoin has passed the previous historical peak).

In the past, the bull market usually came about half a year after the Bitcoin halving. If we look at it from a historical perspective, this round of bull market may not come until after October this year.

It’s only June now, so there’s no need to rush, and there’s no need to feel that this round is particularly difficult.

This time, as in the past, we all need to be patient before the bull market arrives.

3. It has been ten years since Li Ka-shing left the mainland. Now it seems that he left too early or too late?

Mr. Li Ka-shing is a senior businessman whom I admire very much.

I don't like to use the popular sentiments on the Internet to comment on such a senior. I always think that as long as he abides by the law and donates a lot to charity, there is nothing to be picky about. Just based on this point, the old man has made more contributions to society than most people can make in their lifetime.

I saw a piece of news online earlier: In February this year, the local officials from the old man’s hometown went to Hong Kong to visit the old man.

The details of the foreign news report mentioned that the old man responded very politely (roughly speaking): As long as there is an opportunity, the old man will definitely do his best for his hometown and country again.

I think this statement has clearly shown the old man's own opinion on whether it is early or late to leave the mainland.

4. What about AMPL?

I bought this coin in the last bull market, and also received its airdropped governance token for providing liquidity, which left a deep impression on me.

But when the last bull market was approaching its peak, I sold all of them. I didn’t see any special innovations or new directions in the project afterwards, so I never bought it again and gradually forgot about the project.
