Golden Finance reported that Biden and Trump's US presidential election debate on CNN has begun. According to Jaret Seiberg, an analyst at TD Cowen Washington Research Group, Americans who hold cryptocurrencies may want to tune in to the debate. Seiberg said that we think cryptocurrencies are likely to be mentioned, giving each candidate an opportunity to expand on their recent more positive views of the field. "He added that "headlines affecting the cryptocurrency industry may appear" in the debate. Seiberg said that despite the Biden administration's positive attitude on law enforcement actions, it "seems to have softened its opposition" in the past six months as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved a cryptocurrency ETF. Trump said last month that supporters of cryptocurrencies should vote for him, and he had made negative comments about cryptocurrencies before expressing his support for them.
