Blast airdrop fell short of expectations

Ethereum’s second-layer network Blast finally issued a token airdrop yesterday. However, many large investors have criticized on social platforms that the funds they invested in the network are out of proportion to the token airdrops, making it another project that has been spurned due to airdrops after Zksync. NDV co-founder Christian stated on the social platform that he deposited assets worth US$50 million on the Blast network, but only received US$100,000 in token airdrops during TGE.

So I deposited over $50M on @Blast_L2 and get $100k airdrop on TGE. Now I am pretty sure @Blast_L2 is a scam project and @PacmanBlur is a “serial rug entrepreneur”. Never blocked anyone in CT before, he made it. I felt so shame to trust him before. This will be my last tweet… pic.twitter.com/G4f3x2gdUC

Christian accuses Blast of being a scam and founder Pacman is a "rug offender."

On the other hand, Arthur, founder of Defiance Capital, also pointed out that the price performance of BLAST after its opening was not as good as expected. In the past, the fully diluted valuation (FDV) of many L2 projects at the time of opening was approximately 5 billion magnesium, but BLAST's was only just over 2 billion magnesium.

Brother Maji strikes again

Not everyone is giving up on supporting Blast, though. According to information shared by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Huang Licheng, the eldest brother of Maji, has been continuously buying BLAST since BLAST was launched last night. So far, 1,491 ETH has been spent to buy 172 million BLAST, with an average purchase price of about US$0.027, making him the largest individual holder of BLAST.

After becoming the No. 1 on the $FRIEND list, Machi (machi big brother) has become the No. 1 on the $BLAST list. Machi has continued to buy BLAST since BLAST went online last night. So far, he has spent 1,491 ETH to buy 172 million BLAST ($4.65M), with an average purchase price of $0.027. He is currently the largest individual holder of BLAST. https://t.co/oe6gvc4S7e In addition, Machi is in FRIEND… pic.twitter.com/wZs8OAE3FD

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Brother Maji has acquired a large amount of chips for a single project. Previously, Brother Maji also purchased a large amount of SocialFi project FRIEND tokens on the chain. Currently, he holds a total of 9.4 million FRIEND tokens, making him the largest individual token holder. However, the price of the FRIEND token is now only 0.57, and Brother Moji’s holding cost is as high as $1.5, with a floating loss of approximately $8.74 million.
